Well, today is Vid's birthday, a cool dude I've been talking to online for a while. So for his special day, I decided to draw him a picture, have a look;
I had mentioned to Vid before about how his face was full of expression, he has this eyebrow thing that he does that always comes to mind when I think about him, so that's how I decided the expression for this picture (though his hair is actually longer than how I depicted it here). I drew another quick sketch beforehand earlier in the week;
This one, with hair down and somewhat of a "grin". Ultimately, I decided on the first one because that's just the face that comes to mind when I think of him. :D

Very elegant work, Saru. And I agree -- the color sketch is more emotive, but I actually prefer the gentleness of the pencil one. More human and inviting. Still...all of your art is wonderful. Keep building.
I agree jam, I actually started coloring that one but did not finish in time,.. Maybe I'll post it later. :D
