New web project and sketches.

I guess now's a good time as any to announce this, beginning shortly will be the premiere of my first webcomic, Fire-on-Ice. It's a small web project I have been working on between OTL (which I still plan to make as my first tangible, published work) and my fantasy project, below is a preliminary sketch of the two main characters of FoI;The story revolves around the complicated relationship between two men, united by their childhood-friendship and their passion for Bandy (An Ice sport similar to Hockey). More details on FoI later. Next is a sketch that is pretty random for the most part, my be thrown in with Wren & Co. and that whole project, I dunno yet;
I liked the bow and arrow idea, and yes, another elf XD. We'll see what happens with this later. Now, this next sketch is totally random!
Yeah, I have no idea myself so don't ask! LOL! Just some fun sketching I suppose. Make sure to check back here for more on IoF!

Commission - Tauren and Elf

Here's a commission I did for someone wanting his WoW character (Tauren) and his Elf friend, the idea was to have the Tauren look protective of his little buddy, this was the result;I'll have to admit, I had some difficulty with this as I have never done anything like this before. Since I finished this one, I have been asked to do two more WoW related pieces for other people, good thing I got my practice in, eh?

Happy Birthday Vid!

Well, today is Vid's birthday, a cool dude I've been talking to online for a while. So for his special day, I decided to draw him a picture, have a look;

I had mentioned to Vid before about how his face was full of expression, he has this eyebrow thing that he does that always comes to mind when I think about him, so that's how I decided the expression for this picture (though his hair is actually longer than how I depicted it here). I drew another quick sketch beforehand earlier in the week;

This one, with hair down and somewhat of a "grin". Ultimately, I decided on the first one because that's just the face that comes to mind when I think of him. :D

Anyway,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VID!!!

DS Arts!

So someone introduced me to a homebrew application for the DS called Colors, it's a nifty little drawing app. I drew some stuff with it and had alot of fun, behold;

Though Craig kinda stands out like a sore thumb, but drawing everything around him was difficult for me because I had to draw everything so minuscule in size.

Color is obviously not my strongsuit! Heh. And yet again, more peenors!
I really liked how this one turned out, though I don't know why Craig looks all sad-face, I'd gladly trade him places! xD

So in conclusion, this little app can produce some pretty amazing results but it's far too tedious to use (no undo button!), still fun though!
